Here’s the inside story how I became a die hard fan of the pretty Yaya Dub Maine Mendoza and the Pambansang BAE Alden Richards (I prefer Richard Faulkerson, Jr.)
I must say that EAT BULAGA and SHOWTIME share 50% audience each.
Showtime’s audience are mostly the young ones or the teenagers while Eat Bulaga’s audience are the old ones and a little of the young ones. But when ALDUB became a hit Showtime can’t beat EB’s ratings. But before that their rating were up and down with little difference.
So, here it is. One day, my family are watching EAT BULAGA and then I also sat down and watch with them. I’m just observing because I prefer Showtime that time eh. I noticed a simple pretty girl but as the show goes on I didn’t mind her I just continued eating my lunch. The truth is, I don’t know that girl and I don’t like its aura. Seems like she’s snob and very suplada. She doesn’t smile eh. So the day passed by.
Then one day at school, my friends were having a conversation. Goes like this:
Friend1: Uuyy, alam mo ba may bago sa Eat Bulaga?
Friend2: Ay, OO. Si Yaya Dub. Ang ganda niya noh? Ang simple lang walang kyeme.
Friend1: Na-feature nga siya sa Jessica Soho eeh. Mayaman pala sila no? Buti Okey lang sa kanya yung nasa kalye. Kahit mainit okey lang sa kanya.
Friend2: Ay, nako. Oo, mayaman sila. Nag-aral nga yan sa La Salle eeh. Tas nag-OJT sa New York. Tarush.
Friend1: Tangeks. Proud pa parents niya sa kanya kahit pa-dubsmash dubsmash lang yun sa initan. Saka pangarap daw talaga niya mag-artista eeh.
Friend2: Ay, grabe siyaaaa! Hahahaha! Deserve naman niya yan eh. Mayaman siya pero ang simple lang niya tas di talaga siya maarte maganda pa. Waaaaaaah!

That was the first time I became curious about Yaya Dub, because of the good feedbacks I’ve heard from people. Then my mom and my sister were the ones who influenced me about this ALDUB. They started influencing me when I heard them talking about Maine Mendoza who came to marry Frankie then Yaya Dub passed out for real. That was the first time I became totally HOOKED.
My parents were arguing if its scripted or not. HAHA! Twas real, she passed out because she’s not feeling well that not. And it’s not yet the right time to see ALDEN.
When I first watched the collapse episode. Haha. Wherein Maine passed out, I became curious on what happened first when Maine Mendoza entered Eat Bulaga. 🙂 Then saw this very much endearing episode. Maine’s reaction was very natural and she smiles when she’s not suppose to smile, then got her eyes big and round. We can never forget this episode. NEVER. SURREAL. I always watch this when I get bored. Because I do have all the copy of Kalyesere’s Episode from the start and the next and counting.
I’m just gonna make the highlights of ALDUB wherein they started to have real feelings for each other. Aldub To Maichard. lol.
I have a story to tell about this episode, since I am totally addicted I can’t let the day passed without watching it live. That day, me and my sister went to Pampanga to get stuffs in a certain hospital. We were really in a hurry just to watch EB. Good thing is we have our Portable TV on our phones. I do have 2 phones, one has TV the other doesn’t have. So, when we’re inside the bus we’re watching EB already.Then we got off already, bought ticket for LRT, our TV on phones still turn on. Haha. Then the Security Guard said “Oh, You’re watching ALDUB. Right? Seems that Yaya Dub and Alden we’re going to see each other already.”
I just responded “YEAH.” Then laughed.
When we entered LRT, I still watched on my phone not minding the people around me even my sister. Haha. And t’was actually irritating kase masikip. Hay. Pilipinas nga naman. And imagine standing ovation peg namin sa LRT. Gosh! Haha! Anyway, I just heard the people talking about ALDUB that time. I just realized how ALDUB move and touch the heart of every Filipino. Even I, got by them. I’m happy for that.
The unforgettable PLYWOOD. Hahahaha! I cursed my Saturday class when this episode happens. Sakto, it was the last day of my midterm exams. The funny thing here is, its my vacant and I watched this episode at our school library. I’m actually with my 4 friends. I’m holding my phone, i’m in mid of them so they can also watched. When they saw each other already my friends went wild, the other is pulling my hair, the other is slapping my arms. Hahaha! This was unforgettable because the librarian got mad of us and said “Can you turn that off? Or if you want just go out of the library and continue watching it there.” We just became silent and didn’t mind the librarian and started giggling with each other. Hay! Crazy with friends as is. The suspect there is the nursing student who is so bitter and epal who told the librarian that we’re watching TV on my phone. Maybe she’s a fan of Showtime. LOL.
The historical Blindfold and Straw who already have their own twitter accounts to give statement and apologize to ALDUB NATION. HAHAHA!

I’ve been seeing Alden Richards on showbusiness for how many years but I’ve never seen him smile like this for a girl. He’s not ALDEN here. He was RICHARD FAULKERSON JR. that time. Ngudngod ba naman niya face niya sa headrest ng chair ng van. Tsk. Tsk.
I remembered my classmates who skipped class for this episode. Whahahaha! Really thanks to my TV on phone. Imagine, our subject for this day is Major (Accounting 2). Hahaha! 3 hours of discussion. Curse that Saturday class! Ugh! -_-
There’s a funny encounter and story again behind this episode. Its about my friend who happen to be caught smiling for no reason. lol. The thing is our professor is our Dean also (Acctg2-CBA). Then my friend is nakikiwatch ng ALDUB sa min, what I did is I put my phone inside my bag and put a little whole through zipper ha, so I won’t get caught. But my 2 friends we’re smiling while looking at the phone then my prof said “Ms. why are you both smiling? Is there something funny? Seems that you’re not listening ha?” I want to laugh at them, really hard. Kasi nagpahuli ba naman na nakangiti. Di mapigil ang kilig pag ALDUB na usapan. Grabe siyaaaaa!
Anyway, the first picture of ALDUB was born here. No more edit. The exciting part for me when Maine gave Alden a letter. Waaah! God Gave Me You!
